Located in the quaint village of Chop Gate (on the B1257) the Inn has transport links to the charming towns of Stokesley (with its Georgian High St) and Helmsley (with its Walled Garden) as well as walking, cycle and road routes to the wider North Yorkshire Moors and surrounding areas.

The Buck Inn is the closest Inn to the famous Wainwright’s Coast to Coast walk and just 2.5 miles from Clay Bank. Helen and Wolfgang offer a complimentary shuttle service from Clay Bank car park, by prior arrangement, to guests staying in rooms on a Bed and Breakfast basis. They also offer this service to Campers staying with them for a small charge per person, each way.
