With 6 en-suite bedrooms, including doubles, twins and a shared group/family room, The Buck Inn is the ideal place for anyone wishing to experience the area -its famous and local walks and landmarks. If all rooms are available-we can accommodate a party of up to 14 people (max) at one time. Be sure to check out our wonderful Winter Deal – 2/3 night stay for 2 people sharing a room.
Offering a truly personal service, Helen and Wolfgang take pride in everything they offer to their guests. All rooms feature 22“ flat screen TV’s (including Freeview), en-suite bathrooms and tea and coffee making facilities.
Also included is a freshly prepared ‘Traditional full Yorkshire / Vegetarian Breakfast’ including home-cooked delights, cereal, fruit juice, toast, jam and hot beverages. Whether you’re travelling on foot, by cycle or by car…you really will be well set up for the day ahead!
All guest rooms are situated on the ground floor with private access to the car park and garden to the rear of the building. We are dog-friendly subject to the owners’ discretion/subject to availability of dog friendly room. Please check when you book.
Non returnable deposits are taken to secure the room. Once the deposit is taken the hotel room is taken out of our booking system and is no longer available to other customers who might enquire about availability.

Group Bookings
If all 6 en-suite rooms are available, we can accommodate groups of up to 14 people.
Dog Friendly
We have some dog-friendly bedrooms, which means you can bring your four-legged friend with you. Please check availability when booking. Dogs stay for FREE – OUR TREAT, though please bring a bed for them and as dogs have their own dietary requirements please bring their own food and other necessary supplies.

Room rates are inclusive of VAT.
Lifts from and to Clay Bank are complimentary for guests staying on a Bed & Breakfast basis and walking the Coast to Coast or the Cleveland Way. We can also offer these lifts to those camping with us for a small fee per person each way. We are unable to offer lifts for Bistro guests only but can provide details of local taxi firms.
We offer a take-away packed lunch service to our guests including soup and rolls, fresh fruit, cakes and tray-bakes. Please order the night before they are required.
Just because its Winter, doesn’t mean you can’t get out walking or cycling in the fresh air of the North York National Park or visit the beautiful villages and local attractions by car. Come and stay with us and take advantage of our super special deal!
